Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the first and largest koala sanctuary in the world. Set in attractive natural settings located on the Brisbane river, over 130 koalas live here, alongside kangaroos, dingoes, wombats and many other Australian natives.

You can cuddle a koala any time through out the day and have your photo taken.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Was established in 1927 with just two koalas and is now home to over 130 koalas. The sanctuary is home to a large variety of Australian wildlife with shows and activities presented daily.

Hand feed 130 kangaroos and wallabies in the 2-acre reserve, handfeed wild Rainbow lorikeets twice a day all in a natural setting on the Brisbane River. If your feeling brave you can have your photo taken holding a snake or baby crocodile! Afterwards watch the amazing birds of prey fly high and swoop low in the free flight shows and then have your photo taken with an owl or wedge tailed eagle after the show.

Enjoy a taste of the outback while watching our award winning sheep dogs working the sheep.
