Located at the quieter end of the bustling Mall Road, near the Viceroy Lodge, The Oberoi Cecil is announced by a crisp, white façade and smart, green terrace railings. Inside, a lobby punctuated with marble fireplaces leads guests to a comfortable lounge, which is lit from above by a skylight that spans the length and breadth of the hotel's signature atrium.
Room
Located off richly carpeted corridors that encircle the expansive, sky-lit atrium, the rooms and suites afford fantastic views across the terraced garden, towering cedar trees, or the Shimla valley. Each room is decorated in classic colonial style, with a king-size bed, Burmese teak floorboards, ottoman and leather topped bureau desk. The well-lit bathrooms, tiled in deep red granite and evergreen marble, are fitted with a full-length bathtub and vari-pressure shower.

Our Luxury Suites are tastefully decorated with a king-size bed, adorned with a unique, two-poster burnished brass and upholstered headboard, Victorian style ottoman, white candelabra bedside lamps and leather topped writing bureau. Premier Valley View Rooms
The centrepiece of this room is a two-poster bed - designed exclusively for Oberoi - topped with a verdant green upholstered headboard and piled with pillows. Sitting squarely at the end is a Victorian style ottoman, and in the corner, a leather topped writing desk and smartly carved antique style chair.
From the windows of our Premier Valley View Rooms, guests can enjoy uninterrupted panoramas of the dramatic Shimla valley, cloaked in evergreen cedar trees, in whose branches monkeys play.
